Started Building & Repairing Computers

Travis started repairing his own computer and building computers for others around the age 13. Travis became well knowledge in the components of a computers and family and friends relied on him to help them with their computer problems and to build them custom computers.

2005

Graduated Middle School & Enrolled In Clyde C. Miller Academy High School

Introduced To Multi-Media Career Field/Pathway

Clyde C. Miller Career Academy is a high school located in the Grand Center Arts District of Saint Louis, Missouri. Clyde C. Miller Career Academy is focused on ensuring that “Every Student is Career and College Ready”. Career Academy offers 10 career pathways for students to choose from.  The culminating experience is an internship during the senior year. Travis Cotton the CEO of Cool And Fly chose the Multi-Media Pathway which at the time was led by Tim Atchinson who introduced him to the entrepreneurial aspect of graphic design, audio production, video production and web design. Travis took those skills and started a business creating and designing for local companies in the Saint Louis area which provided capital for his ventures.

2007

Created Social Media Network (MyBeboSpaceBook.com)

In the late 2006’s and early 2007 the social networking websites MySpace.com, Bebo.com and Facebook.com was extremely popular and innovative. Everyone in school was apart of the social networks and the school system eventually placed a block on the website from being accessible on school computers. Travis created his own social network that combined features of the three websites into one and launched it so friends at school could communicate with other. Travis was able to change the dynamic ip address’s and get around the blockages that the school system placed and allowed students to access the website and communicate with other students in and outside of the school. Travis eventually received a scholarship to attend the University Of Missouri for Business Plan and implantation of this business which generated revenue from Google Ads.

First Major Marketing Manager Opportunity

During High School Travis Cotton was generating so much business that he had to establish himself as an entity which he formed as Cool And Fly LLC. Cool And Fly is what he envisioned his life to be. Live a Cool life and Fly around the world on his own terms. Travis started Cool And Fly LLC when he was 17 years old.

Launched H**Book.com

Travis launched a website called H**Book.com which was an early version of Web 2.0 that was based on a concept of see now gone later, it allowed people to post about cheaters and infidelities in a humorous way. Childish yes, innovative …. extremely. The way Travis operated the website didn’t allow any information to be kept live for longer than flow of Traffic allowed which forced people to view the website which generated 10’s of thousands of views daily and generated revenue which Travis converted into bitcoins.

Began Traveling To Los Angeles, California.

Thanks to my good friend DJ, I began traveling to Los Angeles California to expand business ventures and network with other entrepreneurs and innovators.

Moved To Los Angles, California.

Travis originally moved to Los Angeles to be the marketing manger for a luxury fitness retreat. The retreats location was four luxury mansions located at the top of Hollywood Hills.

Started Managing Luxury Real Estate & Short Term Rentals

The mansions had many working components of which Travis had experience in maintaining and knowledge of so Travis’s responsibilities grew and he became the point of contact when issues occurred.

Started Clubbing In Los Angeles

Travis became acclimated with the clubbing scene in Hollywood after many guest of the mansions wanted to go out and have a good time in Hollywood. Travis would book tables at clubs in and around Hollywood, California and became a point of contact for people traveling to Hollywood to have a complete experience.

Liaison For Luxury Car Rentals

Travis’s clientele base would often ask for luxury cars to rent along with mansions in Hollywood so Travis became a point of contact for Luxury Car Rentals and was able to pick up exotic rental cars for guest and have access to a fleet of vehicles.

Moved Into Penthouse #1

After years of living in Hollywood Hills Travis moved into a luxury penthouse of his own in North Hollywood, California that gave Travis a separation of work life and his personal life.

Launched Slaps.Audio

Travis launched his own music streaming service which is free and utilizes youtube to parse and play music for people who don’t have subscription based services such as Spotify and Apple Music. The application could be access via desktop and mobile phone.

Moved To Glendale, California

Travis moved to Glendale, California which is one of the 25 safest cities in America. Travis enjoys the small town like atmosphere. The upkeep of the city and the friendly policies that the city have in place that protects the citizens.

Cool And Fly Secured A Car Lot In Burbank, California.

Cool And Fly LLC acquired a car lot to accommodate the fleet operation and to have a place to store vehicles that are in the process of being repaired and sold. Cool And Fly purchases vehicles, restores them, and sells them. Some of the vehicles are added to the fleet operation which allows workers to have side hustles utilizing ride sharing applications and not put wear and tear on their personal vehicles.

Expanded So Cal Operation To San Diego

To better serve our market of Southern California Cool And Fly expanded by acquiring a location in San Diego that provides a meeting place for clients and work stations for employees. The web design and marketing department is located in San Diego which is a tech hub and filled with intelligent and innovate people whom Cool And Fly retains to maintain the operation.
